Does w.i.n.e. work out of box?


Not really, you'll need to install additional files. This can be done with one simple command.

1. Open Konsole.
2. Enter "winetricks corefonts vcrun6"
3. Follow the instructions and wait until it's finished. Don't pay too much attention to the console itself, the text is a simple progress meter.

With the command "winetricks steam", you'll install steam. But notice that this will install everything on your current media, and a game will most likely be to big for a usb stick.
Also, when you are ask to install the gecko engine, say yes. This is necessary to view websites like the steam store.

How to install the Ati or Nvidia graphic cards driver?


1. Go to Menu ->Computer->Install/Remove Software
2. Enter your root password
3. For Nvidia drivers, search for x11-video-nvidiaG02 and install the package.
    For ATI users, the package is x11-video-fglrxG02.
4. Reboot
